When you go fort the first time to a psychic, you don’t know what to expect from a tarot reading. It is important to keep in mind that you are going to get some clues or hints regarding your past, future or present that will definitely help you with your further decision making. 

The tarot cards are made up of two major parts: the Major Arcana (or the “Greater Secrets” cards) consisting of 22 cards and the Minor Arcana (known as “Lesser Secrets), consisting of 56 cards in total.

In your first tarot card reading the following is an explanation of the symbolism of three “Greater Secrets” cards:

• The Fool- the fool symbolizes a spirit who is on a continuous journey of finding new experiences. When this card comes out during the reading, it may mean that there is a significant change about to happen in your life, or that time has come to take the major risk in your life, to finally confront your fears.

• The Magician- this card in Tarot signifies adventure, creativity, precision, objectiveness, initiative and determination. When this card is revealed, it signifies that it is time to exploit your potentials at their fullest, and do not hold back from your actions. Depending on its alignment and its relation to other cards, it may also mean that you may easily become the subject of a manipulation. 

• The High Priestess- this is the “mystery card”, which points out that you are struggling with a secret and you don’t know what to do (to keep it that way or reveal it).
